Gateway East: Our Direct Competition
For 2026, the Gateway East Division consists of 11 clubs, including eight from the St. Louis metro area. Our direct opponents include:

This places us in a highly competitive regional environment with strong rivalries and frequent St. Louis matchups — making every matchday meaningful and high‑intensity.
As part of the Gateway East Division, 314 SC will travel throughout the Midwest for official MWPL league play, including destinations such as:
Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa, with clubs based in:

These trips provide valuable competitive experience and increased visibility for our players and partners.
The MWPL season runs May through August, with 314 SC's preseason taking place March through April before the start of Gateway East competition.
Each team competes in regular‑season matches leading into the Gateway Conference Championship, where the Gateway East winner faces the Gateway West champion. The 2026 title match is scheduled for July 25, 2026.
Before joining the MWPL, we spent two seasons competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), earning major accomplishments during our time there.
This includes winning the 2025 UPSL Gateway Division Championship and advancing to the regional quarterfinals, demonstrating the club’s readiness for higher‑level regional play.
Our entry into the Midwest Premier League marks an exciting new chapter for the club — one that strengthens our mission of building player pathways, elevating local talent, and expanding opportunities within the greater St. Louis soccer community.
